IIS Vulnerability Affects Several Server Versions
Attacks have been detected that take advantage of a security hole in Microsoft's IIS FTP server. Versions 5.1, 6.0, and 7.0 can be exploited to launch DOS attacks. Version 5.0 can have arbitrary code executed on the system. Microsoft is still working on a patch, but upgrading to version 7.5 or disabling parts of FTP seem to be the quick fixes.

Microsoft disclosed the Internet Information Services (IIS) vulnerability on Monday and said Friday it's still working on a security update to fix the problem.
